Andrew Tymkiw

Andrew Tymkiw, Founder and Principal

Andrew Tymkiw is a senior life sciences executive and strategic advisor with a 40-year record of building, scaling, and repositioning medical device companies at critical inflection points across venture-backed startups, private equity portfolios, and global public organizations. As Founder and Principal of Lifescience Business Solutions, he works closely with boards, executive teams, and investors to assess readiness for capitalization and market entry, de-risk regulatory and operational strategies, and translate innovation into durable, scalable enterprise value serving unmet patient needs.

Andrew brings deep expertise in FDA-regulated environments, supporting innovation and commercialization across complex medical device sectors including structural heart, cardiovascular, aesthetic, and regenerative medicine. He has served as fractional COO, General Manager, and senior advisor to companies navigating pivotal transitions through U.S. and international regulatory pathways, global expansion, and first-in-class or early-market commercialization. His work has supported more than $250 million in capital deployment by aligning clinical, regulatory, operational, and commercial priorities in a manner that withstands investor diligence and regulatory scrutiny.

Prior to founding Lifescience Business Solutions, Andrew held senior leadership roles at Edwards Lifesciences, Mentor Corporation (Johnson & Johnson), Marquest Medical (GE Healthcare) and Becton Dickinson, where he led global operations, growth initiatives and sustained performance resulting in successful exits. Known for his ability to bridge regulatory discipline with strategic execution, Andrew provides an investor-aligned perspective that enables organizations to advance complex technologies from development through scale with confidence, resilience, and long-term value creation.

Tony Gorski, General Partner, Dogleg Capital, LLC

As Managing Partner of Dogleg Capital, an investment and advisory firm for companies navigating the S-curve, Tony Gorski leads portfolio equity/debt placements and advisory services to boards, CEOs and management seeking to transform operational performance, lead turnaround situations and drive cash flow improvements. Current holding include: cleantech, energy, cybersecurity, medical devices, consulting, software and real estate verticals.

In prior roles, Tony Gorski constructed and led a global healthcare software business unit for Huron Consulting (NASDAQ: HURN) and drove the development/launch of 20+ SaaS-based mobile applications across the healthcare continuum. He was CEO of Safer Healthcare and CEO/Co-Founder My Rounding Solutions (both acquired by NASDAQ: HURN) as well as CEO of DemandPoint/JCIT International, which founded the award-winning Demand Flow® Technology that has provided proven operations/supply chain solutions to corporations in over 100 countries. He is a recognized industry expert on demand-driven techniques and led the sale of the software business to JD Edwards/PeopleSoft for the development of Oracle’s demand-driven software platforms and SAP’s demand-driven solutions. In working with leadership across hundreds of organizations on cash conversion strategies and demand-driven techniques to lower working capital and improve service levels, Tony Gorski holds extensive experience across  varied industries including medical devices and life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, high-volume consumer products, agricultural equipment, high-tech/electronics, automotive, aerospace/defense and process-intensive industries. As an award-winning speaker and recognized subject matter expert, he has assisted thousands of leaders and speaks globally on topics, including demand flow manufacturing, demand-driven value chains, supply chain agility, turnaround situations, operational efficiency and free cash flow strategies. Keynotes include: Oracle, SAP, U.S. Military, various U.S. Government agencies, and dozens of board and corporate events. Previously he has held management roles for Harley-Davidson and the Strategy group at Accenture and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Marquette University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
